“Kidz from bridge” is a project initiated in October 2015 with the aim of helping 30-40 children in rural Namibia to get access to education by building a kindergarden/preschool. As there is no compulsory school attendance in Namibia not all children are send to school especially in the rural area. By building a kindergarden/preschool in the area the children living there should at least have the possibility to have access to the basic education.
The name “kidz from the bridge” derives from the fact that the kids live at the bridge on the B 35 crossing the Ugab river (from Uis direction Khowarib).
Until now “kidz from the bridge” is a private founded project with, of course, limited funds which mainly concentrated on making the live of the children a little bit better by buying toys and schoolbooks for them, but much more is possible with a little help from everyone.
If you’re willing and interested to help please feel free to reach out to e or leave a donation.
Thank you very much!
